Bob Plumb has been coaching basketball for thirty three years here at Immaculate High School. Plumb has had a variety of roles since the start of his career including coaching both the Freshmen and JV teams as well as assisting with Varsity. After a brief break in the mid 90’s, Plumb returned as our Head Freshmen Boys Basketball coach.
Plumb has guided the Freshmen Mustangs to many successful seasons including an undefeated season (16-0) in 2010. Basketball has a deep tradition of success here at Immaculate High School and that tradition stems from a solid foundation. Coach Plumb takes great pride in building that foundation with our Freshmen program.
Plumb also served as the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Immaculate High School. Coach Plumb is a member of the Immaculate High School Sports Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2011.
Known as a players’ coach, Plumb is not only successful in teaching X’s and O’s, but dedicates a great deal of time providing life lessons and building character in each player that passes through the program.
Bob’s wife, Lisa ('78), and three children Bobby ('05), Ashley ('06), and Brandy ('08) are graduates of Immaculate. Son Tyler ('16) is now a Senior at Immaculate, and happy to be a “Mustang”.
