Visual and Performing Arts Events
The Fine Arts Department, with the help of students in Tri-M (Music Honor Society), hosts several musical events throughout the school year. The events are open for all to attend and listen to our talented Immaculate musicians.
Fall Talent Show
Immaculate hosts an annual Fall Talent Show which features our Inspire Choir – as well as individual acts. It is always exciting to see the new faces of Immaculate as the freshmen step on stage for the first time to share their talents! In the past several years, the Immaculate Talent Show has been presented at Edmond Town Hall in Newtown.
Christmas Concert
Christmas brings us back to our ‘home’ on the Immaculate stage, for our annual Christmas Concert. The performance features our music ensembles (instrumental and vocal) and our senior musicians who wish to perform as soloists. Additionally, we have a number of siblings and middle school students who join us as the Junior Inspire Choir. Our concert concludes with the entire student ensemble singing and playing “Silent Night.”
Music in our Schools Month
Springtime at Immaculate is busy with Music in Our Schools Month activities – including a Coffee House performance in March, our spring musical in April and our Visual and Performing Arts Program Spring Exhibition in May. The Coffee House and Spring Exhibition is a collaboration of senior student music choices and springtime repertoire.
Coffee Houses
From year to year, the Coffee House changes as the Tri-M student leaders' visions change. But the one constant is the joy experienced by the student performers. This is a fun event led by the students. The Coffee House is set up in a section of the Dining Hall with couches and chairs added for ambiance.
Visual and Performing Arts Program Spring Exhibition
Our Visual and Performing Arts Program annually highlights the extraordinary artistic talents of our students during our spring exhibition. This showcase features a diverse array of creative endeavors, ranging from traditional mediums like painting, pottery and resin to contemporary expressions such as graphic design and vocal performances. The exhibition serves as a testament to the multifaceted abilities of our students and a celebration of their artistic achievements.
