President Search
Immaculate High School is searching for our next President, effective July 1, 2024.
The search for the next President of Immaculate High School is well underway. With the
announcement in March of the retirement of President Mary Maloney, the Search Committee
initially explored the appointment of an Interim President for the 2023-2024 school year but
instead asked our Principal, Wendy Neil, to serve as Acting President, eager to build on her many
gifts and the continuity her service will provide.
Board of Directors Chair Joseph T. Draper now leads a President Search Committee that also
includes Directors John Capilli, Lindsay Previdi, and Stephen Piccolo. The Search Committee
has been working closely with Immaculate’s partner (see below) as the national search for our
next President has proceeded. The Search Committee’s work has included:
- determining next steps with respect to an Interim/Acting President;
- structuring our search partner’s two-day visit to Immaculate in the spring;
- identifying, with the help of your participation in a community survey, the opportunities and challenges awaiting the next President and the qualities and characteristics needed to seize them;
- and writing a compelling Position Description, available HERE.
