STUDENT OF THE MONTH- THEOLOGY

The Theology Department is pleased to announce that Angela Pacheco of Danbury has been named Student of the Month for the Theology Department for the month of May.  Angela is currently a junior and for the last three years has been a commendable student in theology class.  She comes to class prepared every day with a smile on her face and a pep in her step.  She willingly answers questions, participates in class very often, and is a leader in class group work.  Angela is very knowledgeable of the Catholic faith and shares that openly with her peers.  She is a joy in the classroom and has a very caring nature.

Teachers, Gina Donnarummo and Tara Chila took seniors to pray the rosary in front of Mary this month.  Each student received a rosary that was made by members of the Rosary Making Club.

Immaculate was pleased to host its Fine Arts Show this month sharing students multimedia projects, followed by the “Spring in Bloom” Cabaret. Guests enjoyed senior solo performances and entertaining band & choir music ensembles.

CNA STUDENTS CELEBRATE YEAR-END

Immaculate CNA students celebrated the end of the year and their last clinical day on May 18. All students received their certificate and a nice party for their hard work!

SHE'S THE FIRST WALK

It was a beautiful day for the “She’s the First” school-wide walk this month in memory of Rebecca Draper Townsend ‘15 founder of the IHS Chapter. Students, faculty and staff made contributions to support the “She’s the First” mission to assist young girls in impoverished countries with obtaining an education.
