Four Students Named National Merit Scholars

These remarkable Mustangs are Alyssa Hartnett and Michaela Martin of Ridgefield, Olivia Esposito of Danbury, and Anna Kopec of Bethel. Principal Wendy Neil will present a Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation at an awards ceremony.

There are about 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation. All four students placed among the top 50,000 of all the students who entered the 2023 national competition by taking the 2021 preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
