Mustang Monthly

Stella Sabo ‘21 has been named the Student of the Month for Math! Stella says that being named Student of the Month is, “truly an honor. Math does not come easy to me so I have to work extra hard to succeed. Being recognized for my hard work in math is an amazing feeling.” She was nominated for consistently working hard to improve her math skills and taking risks in class by volunteering to answer difficult questions. Stella loves her math classes because she says they are truly a community where everyone is willing to help each other. Outside of the classroom, Stella is very involved. She is on the varsity field hockey and golf teams, as well as serving as Student Council Vice President and Secretary of the National Honor Society. She is a member of the National English Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and Key Club. This spring, Stella will also be seen as the dance captain for the spring musical. As a senior, she has plans to attend college after graduation to pursue nursing. Congratulations, Stella!
