Mustang Monthly

Dear IHS family,

Our students just finished up an intense week of mid-term exams. Let us give them a round of applause for their hard work! Hopefully they will have some rest.

Next week, our school will celebrate the National Catholic Schools Week. National Catholic Schools Week begins on the last Sunday in January and runs for an entire week. This year it is celebrated from January 29 to February 4. It is annually celebrated in the United States to promote the exceptional education that comes with functioning as a Catholic school. Education has always been a vital part of decision-making for every family and parent and with this week-long occasion, people can have a glimpse of the excellent standards, formation, programs, and teachings Catholic schools can offer. Immaculate HS will have a school Mass on Friday February 3 at 9:15 to celebrate this event. Hope many of you can join us!

Our school has Mass and Adoration twice a week. Everyone is welcome. Please email the school for information of the day and time if you plan to attend.

May God bless you always!

Father Philip Phan

This year’s National Catholic Schools Week theme is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” As the Niche ranked #1 Co-Ed Catholic Day School in CT, Immaculate has a lot to celebrate during National Catholic Schools Week! Read more about our plans for Catholic School Week click here.

Celebration of the Feast of the Epiphany

This month we celebrated a joyous Feast of the Epiphany punctuated, as always, with beautiful music from our Inspire choir. We thank Father Tim Iannacone for officiating the celebration and for giving such a wonderful homily! He is the Parochial Vicar of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield.

Campus Ministry Happenings

This month our campus ministry wrote messages of hope and good luck to each and every student and put those Post-Its on all the lockers in our school. We love the support our students show each other through the little things they do every day!
