Mustang Monthly

Dear IHS family,

April is the most uplifting month for all of us. We celebrated Easter that has brought so much joy and hope in our hearts. The warmer weather and new life sprouting around us is exciting and refreshing. Our students also are looking forward to the graduation day and summer break as they are fast approaching now.

During past Lent, our students had the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and later were asked to provide feedback on their experience - the responses were overwhelmingly positive. I also encouraged them to attend church during Holy Week and Easter Sunday. I hope this experience has spiritually renewed each student.

I also would like to extend an invitation to you all to join us for the Mass of the Ascension on Thursday, May 18th at 9:30 AM at our school. This is our last school Mass before we wrap up the school year.

May God bless you and may the joy of Easter continue to fill your hearts!

Our National Honor Society and Campus Ministry joined forces to collect items for the Morning Glory non-food pantry drive benefiting Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury. They collected items throughout the season of Lent and filled a car load of items to be given to families in need.
