Team and Spring Musical Blessings at Friday Masses

On most Fridays at 2:15pm there is a Mass in the IHS Chapel. All students are encouraged to attend, and parents and alumni are invited as well. Each spring sports team received a blessing from our chaplain Deacon Jeff Font following a Friday Mass.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."  Colossians 3:23-24

Stations of the Cross 

On the Friday before Spring Break/Palm Sunday, all students participated in the Stations of the Cross in the gymnasium. Many IHS students served as readers, as actors performing a shadow version of the Stations or as members of the choir.  

Lenten Pantry Drive    

During the Lenten Season, the National Honor Society collected nearly 350 pantry items to benefit the Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury. Students then loaded the collected items into the truck and delivered them to Dorothy Day. The class of 2020 donated the most and won a free Casual Day due to their contributions! Thank you to all families and staff members who supported this wonderful cause!
