THE 32ND ANNUAL GOLF OUTING - A GREAT DAY TO BE A MUSTANG!
The 32nd Annual Golf Outing, which took place on September 15 at Ridgewood Country Club, was a great day to be a Mustang! More than 57 alumni from classes spanning the decades came out to support the students and mission of IHS at this sold-out event! The day was filled with alumni reconnecting, reminiscing, catching up, laughing, smiling, and enjoying each other’s company. (Oh- and golfing too!) Raffles, special prize holes, and course contests made for a fun and exciting day for all our players. A highlight of the day was alumni catching up with former principal Mr. Gerwien, who golfed in the tournament. We are so grateful for our Immaculate family who made this day such a great success! A special thank you to our Golf Co-Chairs, Sal Chieffalo ‘81 and Scott Mitchell ‘81 who selflessly give of their time and energy to make this annual event such a success.
THE CLASS OF ‘81 CELEBRATES 40 YEARS!
More than 50 Mustangs from the Class of ‘81 celebrated 40+ years of friendship at their reunion at the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge in Danbury on September 18! It’s always a great time when alumni get together to catch up and share memories. Long-time friends and classmates from all over the country attended the event and shared photos and messages on their class Facebook page with those who were unable to attend. A slideshow created by Frank Zagottis ‘81, DJ & dancing, and a surprise visit from Mr. Gerwien added to the fun and festivities of the evening. Many thanks to the reunion planning committee, Sal Chieffalo ‘81, Marjorie Shannon ‘81, and JoAnn (Gillotti) Borges ‘81 for putting together such a wonderful and memorable evening.
Reunions are excellent occasions to renew ties with classmates, share memories and make new ones! The Class of 1971 Golden Mustang Reunion will be held on Saturday, October 23 at Ridgewood Country Club, and the Class of 1972 is planning their Golden Mustang Reunion for the weekend of June 4, 2022! If you are interested in being part of a reunion planning committee, we will be happy to assist you.
