MASS OF REMEMBRANCE
On November 5, our school community remembered and prayed during a special Mass of Remembrance for all of those members of the Immaculate family who have passed away. Students, faculty, family members and friends paused to remember in prayer and gratitude the lives of those who, although no longer here, remain close to us. Thank you to Fr. Chip O’Neil, Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield, who celebrated the Mass.
All members of the Immaculate family were asked to share the names of deceased loved ones that they wished to remember; these names were placed on the altar during Mass and family members in attendance placed a lit candle near photos of their loved ones in remembrance of them.
VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE
November 11 was a special day here at Immaculate as we celebrated Veterans Day with a Veterans Day Tribute. Our school community came together to honor and thank all of our service men and women for their extraordinary resilience and fortitude.
It was a beautiful tribute, including patriotic songs, reflective prayer and inspiring speeches. Honorable guests included Lt. Colonel Thomas J. Saadi ‘88, U.S. Army Reserve; Sergeant Michael Kearns ‘68, U.S. Army Retired; 1st Lieutenant Zachary Long ‘04, U.S. Army Retired; Colonel Tom Mertens, U.S. Army Retired; and Captain Michael F. Wilson, U.S. Coast Guard Retired.
Thank you to alumnus and keynote speaker Lt. Colonel Thomas J. Saadi ‘88 for his motivational words encouraging students to actively support our veterans through deeds and actions. We are also grateful to former faculty member Colonel Thomas Mertens for sharing his experiences and reflections on his time spent in military service.
We are truly proud of our alumni, staff and parents whose selfless dedication, bravery, and sacrifice to our nation is appreciated and remembered by Immaculate High School.

Join the IHS Alumni Committee as a Class Representative! It’s easy, fun and a great way to reconnect! We are looking for class representatives to assist the alumni committee with communicating and connecting with classmates. You do not need to commit to spending a lot of time to make an immediate impact. Taking the lead on getting classmates together on an annual basis or helping to build a reunion committee every 5 years helps to build class unity and ties to IHS. IHS ALUMNI FOOTBALL GAME ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 27 AT 10:00 AM!
Come have some fun at the alumni football game being held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:00 am in Mustang Valley. There is no fee to play and it's a great day for everyone! Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome.
