Highlights of the 30th Annual Golf Outing
We could not have asked for a better day to host our SOLD OUT 30th Annual Golf Outing at Ridgewood Country Club and honor our Golden “T” Award recipient Tony Mercaldo! The mild temperatures, beautiful sunshine, blue skies and green fairways provided a perfect setting for a challenging but fun 18-hole scramble game for our golfers.
Our participating golfers included 54 alumni, 40 parents and parents of alumni, 12 School Advisory Board members, 11 faculty/staff and many supportive friends of Immaculate. Raffles, special prize holes and super service by the club management made the day an exceptionally pleasant one for all of our players. Congratulations to Paul Myott '86 who hit a Hole in One and won the 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport sponsored by Wetmore's Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram! Congratulations also to the 1st Net Trophy winners: Tony Cirone, Scott Lavelle, Doug Brady and Rich Rubin.
Many, many thanks to our golf co-chairmen Scott Mitchell ‘81 and Sal Chieffalo ‘81 for your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm! We are so grateful for our wonderful parent volunteers, Sally Wilson, Corrinne DiVestea, LaNette Sapenter, Elaine Malgieri, Ursula Hanavan, Kimber Windas, Noreen Fanella, Lisamarie Font, Heidi Flaherty, Denise Fontenelli, Beverly Massoni, Sherry LeBlanc, Carol Goode and Janice Lenz, for all you did to help the day run smoothly. We are especially grateful to our sponsors and participants, whose support and assistance made the day possible - you make a difference for the students at Immaculate. The tournament raised over $43,000 this year.

Donor Appreciation Evening
Immaculate recognized the 2018 Leadership Society Members whose constant generosity demonstrates an enthusiastic commitment to Immaculate High School. The event was held on September 5 at Ridgewood Country Club for those who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more to Immaculate High School. The support of Leadership Society donors is vital to advancing Immaculate’s mission and making an Immaculate education a reality for many, and much appreciated.
Thank You!
Immaculate High School has made many enhancements and improvements to the grounds and building - one of the newest additions is the front entrance stonewall signs on either side of the driveway. These stone walls will welcome students, parents, alumni, staff and visitors for years to come, and is the first thing they see when coming to Immaculate. Thank you to the following donors for your generous gift to Immaculate High School: Class of 1983, Class of 2019, Immaculate Parent Association and Wilshire Real Estate Advisors, LLC! Thank you also to Hollandia Nurseries & Gardens for the beautification of our campus gardens!
What Is the Immaculate Fund?
Immaculate High School students receive a strong foundation of faith and learning - a priceless gift for the future! The Immaculate Fund is the financial foundation for providing faculty, facilities and programs that support the achievements of our students. These gifts from our community of parents, alumni, faculty/ staff, grandparents and friends help to bridge the gap between the cost to educate a student and the cost of tuition. Our goal is to keep an Immaculate education affordable for as many families as possible.
Why Support The Immaculate Fund?
The Immaculate Fund ensures that:
- We attract, retain and support great faculty.
- We continue to have small student/faculty ratios.
- We maintain a safe and progressive learning environment including three new state-of-the-art science labs, enhanced dining hall, secure front entrance, upgraded fields, and energy efficient windows and solar panels.
- New and enhanced courses such as UCONN Graphic Arts, A+ and Cisco Network Technology certification, CT Nursing Assistant certification and Engineering Design are offered.
- We can provide financial assistance to 52% of our students.
Our Goal: $225,000 by June 30, 2020
