Highlights from the 29th Annual IHS Golf Tournament
Thankfully Hurricane Florence passed over Connecticut in time to allow for a pleasant day for the 29th Annual IHS Golf Outing! A total of 120 golfers gathered at Richter Park Golf Course in Danbury on September 19 to help raise over $33,500 for programs that benefit Immaculate students.
The golf outing featured a day of golf, lunch, dinner, auctions and an awards ceremony to celebrate the highlights of the outing and more. Scott and Marianne Mitchell '81 were honored with the Golden "T" Award for their loyal support of Immaculate and the Annual Golf Outing over the years.

On September 6, members of the Immaculate Leadership Society were honored at a special appreciation reception held at the Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury. The Immaculate Leadership Society is a group of benefactors to Immaculate who, through their generosity, demonstrate their enthusiastic commitment to Immaculate High School. This group provides leadership through their giving and inspires others to do the same. The Third Annual Scholarship Breakfast will be held on Thursday, November 15 at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury from 7:30am-9:00am. Monsignor Robert E. Weiss, Pastor of St. Rose of Lima Church in Newtown, will be the keynote speaker at this event that raises scholarship funds for area students whose parents choose to send their child to Immaculate but have difficulty meeting their tuition obligations due to financial hardship.
