Immaculate High School hosted another successful Open House on October 1, attracting over 350 prospective students and parents curious to see all that IHS has to offer.
The visitors went on guided tours of the school including the new chemistry and physics labs, met with student ambassadors and learned about the many clubs, activities, sports and the music, arts and theater programs IHS offers and excels at. They were treated to lunch as well! A special thanks goes to the parent volunteers and dedicated staff who helped make the day a big success.
The Open House is just one of many admissions events. Successful recruitment activities, such as Mustang for a Day visits, Discovery Days, Weekend with the Mustangs and Parent Information Sessions, have helped Immaculate increase its student enrollment by 30 percent over the last few years to a current enrollment of nearly 500 students. Entrance exams for the 2018-19 school year will be conducted at IHS on Saturday, October 28 and Saturday, November 11.
Immaculate High School is ranked in the top third of both best Catholic High Schools and College Prep Private High Schools in America and in the top ten percent Best Catholic High Schools in Connecticut by NICHE in 2017.
Immaculate High School has the highest SAT scores in the Diocese of Bridgeport, has a 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio and provides a three-times return on investment. Scholarships are available.
