Bill MacKinnon, who is married to an Immaculate alumna and is the parent of four Mustangs, has been coaching softball at different levels since 2009. He became the Immaculate Softball Team coach in 2021. From 2021-2024, the team had a record of 41-25 and has finished in the top four of the SWC conference every year. MacKinnon received the “SWC Coach of the Year” award in 2021. His connections to the school run deep. “I coach at Immaculate because I believe in the mission of our school and that the Immaculate athletics program is an extension of that mission,” he said. “While our softball program has only a varsity team at this point in time, we encourage student-athletes of all abilities and experience to participate in softball.”
