Varsity Ice Hockey
The Immaculate BBDI Ice Hockey team IceCats’ first season was nothing short of spectacular, culminating in a championship appearance and the coveted Team of the Year award. Head Coach Bill Garvey has spent the majority of his life both playing and coaching hockey. Bill is currently the dean of student affairs at Immaculate High School and, as a school administrator, he understands the importance of academics alongside a strong athletic program. In the first season of BBDI IceCats (IceCats is a co-op of hockey players from Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury and Immaculate High Schools) Coach Garvey took his team from brand new to SWC Championship and was selected as CHSCA (Connecticut High School Coaching Association) Team of the Year for 2023-2024!
