Boys Varsity Cross Country
Participating in Cross Country can be an incredibly rewarding experience. We focus on consistency and positivity so that every athlete has the opportunity to see themselves grow faster and fitter week after week. For new athletes, in a few weeks time what once seemed impossible - what once WAS impossible - can become easy. The most important thing for the coaches, Coach Steve and Coach Houser, is that each athlete feels good about themselves and the improvements that they are making. A positive team culture is first and foremost. However, the Cross Country teams at Immaculate also have a long history of success. The boys team has won three state championships out of the last six. The girls team has won seven state championships, finished runner-up three times, and once even managed a podium finish at the New England Championships. Experienced runners will continue to improve and feel challenged as we attend invitationals (big races) with some of the best competition in the region.
