Coach Nelson Mingachos is our longest tenured coach here at Immaculate High School. He has been our coach for over 20+ years and during this time he has received countless awards. He has also helped guide his team to three state titles (2012, 2016 and 2018).  Many Immaculate players have moved on to play Division 1, 2 and 3. 
 
The Immaculate basketball program stresses discipline, hard work, respect and teamwork. The team is committed to the development of our student athletes, while giving them the coaching and resources necessary to be prepared for the next step of their careers. We develop and challenge our student-athletes on and off the court. The program has a culture that we work harder than our opponents.
 

There will always be a connection between the boys basketball teams from past to present. Of course, many schools measure success by how the season went but we measure it years later. Do we have our alumni players coming back to cheer on the Mustangs who still feel the pride of their basketball program? Yes, we do.
