Immaculate students are encouraged to participate in our many athletic programs in freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels. The Mustang athletic program belongs to the South West Conference and are members of the CIAC.
Sports participation, for many students, is an important part of their high school experience. At Immaculate, we recognize this and believe that being part of a team has numerous benefits, including increasing self-confidence, building leadership skills, and forging new friendships. We encourage positive team and fan spirit through an active Mustang Stable fan group and messaging of our Class Act program.
The young men and women enrolled at Immaculate have numerous opportunities to participate in a first-class athletic program. In fact, there are 24 sports, 12 men and 12 sports for women. These 24 sports offer competition on the Varsity, JV and freshman levels represented by 46 different teams.
The school's campus features Mustang Valley, a multi use field. This beautifully maintained turf field is used for football, lacrosse, track, soccer, field hockey and physical education class when weather permits. The outdoor facilities also include renovated softball and baseball fields as well as a grass soccer field.
The school facility houses a 800-seat gymnasium and a newly renovated weight room with a fitness trainer. The trainer provides instruction during the school year as well as the summer months.
Immaculate High School is extremely proud of its athletic success, which includes amassing 31 state championships and 42 Conference championships since the school opened its doors in 1968.
