International Students
Why Immaculate High School?
Immaculate has been specializing in caring and providing for its international students for the past ten years. Our international student program includes specific programs to assist international students with their transition into a new culture and learning environment. Our programs include an orientation, an introductory religion course, an ESL English course, a counselor for international students who serves as a liaison with our agencies and parents, an International Student Club as well as a resource center for international students.
As an A+ rated high school, Immaculate High School is the Catholic High School of choice in Northern Fairfield County, Connecticut. Located in Danbury, our campus location offers students easy access to New York City, the cultural and entertainment capital of the Eastern United States. Connecticut also offers you the opportunity to explore U.S. History, the beaches and attractions of Long Island Sound and world-class winter sports.
Our community, rich in traditions and exceptional school spirit, provides a safe, encouraging environment that fosters confidence to pursue passions. Students eagerly become involved in at least one extra-curricular activity and in fact, most participate in several programs to enrich their experience beyond the classroom.
We instill a mutual respect that fosters confidence and a sense of belonging. Students discover and develop their individual talents whether on the field, on the stage or as a leader of a club. As a Catholic school, students are actively engaged in civic responsibility and community service. Our faculty, counseling team and staff are dedicated to making sure that personal and academic needs of every student is supported. We are more than just a community. We are family.
