Application Steps, Requirements and Important Deadlines
Rising 8th graders, welcome to the application process!
Grade 9 applications for the 2027-2028 academic school year opened on July 1, 2026. Please follow the steps below.
Limited spots remain available on a rolling basis for students entering Grades 9-11 for the upcoming school year. Interested in learning more about applying as a transfer student? Click HERE.
1. Submit Online Application
Start by creating a parent portal at immaculatehs.schooladminonline.com/portal. Save the username and password you select when creating your account.
- Complete and submit the online application and pay the $50 application fee which includes the cost of the placement exam (HSPT). It is strongly suggested that this step is complete PRIOR to taking the High School Placement Test (freshman applicants).
TRANSFER APPLICANTS:

2. Return to Application Checklist
After submitting your online application you will be asked to delegate online requests to your child's school for the following items:
- Transcript Request Form
- Principal/Head/Counselor Recommendation Form
- Math Teacher Recommendation Form
- English Teacher Recommendation Form
Two additional checklist items must also be completed by the student and parent or guardian. Once the below checklist items are finished, this signifies a completed application.
- Freshman Student Essay (6-8 Sentences)
- Select Applicant Type (Early or Regular Decision)

3. Select Applicant Type (Grade 9 only)
EARLY DECISION:
Early Decision applicants are 8th grade students whose first choice is Immaculate High School. If accepted, enrollment and deposit must be made by December 18 and is binding (committed to attending Immaculate High School), locking in the 2026-2027 tuition (not fees) for the 2027-2028 academic year. This provides a significant first year savings.
REGULAR DECISION:
Regular Decision applicant enrollment and deposit must be made by February 10, 2027 and is not binding. Should you withdraw your enrollment prior to May 31, 2027, you will forfeit your $1,000 deposit only. If enrollment is canceled after May 31, 2027, parents or guardians are financially responsible for the full annual tuition and fees irregardless of reason for withdrawing.

4. High School Placement Test (HSPT)
If you apply to IHS, your application fee includes the exam taken at Immaculate. The HSPT is a one-time test and is offered to current 8th graders.
HSPT EXAM SESSIONS:
Saturday, October 24, 2026 @8:00am
Saturday, November 7, 2026 @8:00am
5. Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships (optional)
FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid applications for the 2027-2028 academic year open on October 1, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIPS
- A limited number of need-based scholarships are awarded each year and require a FACTS financial aid application to be considered by the scholarship review committee.
- Merit scholarships are automatically offered to incoming freshmen who perform very well on the High School Placement Test and have the grades and teacher recommendations to support high academic achievement.

6. Family Meeting and Tour
(optional for FRESHMAN; required for transfer students)
An interview is required for all transfer applicants. Tours are available at the time of the meeting as well. Visits to Immaculate consist of private, personalized walk-throughs of our school that provide time with members of our Admissions Office so that you can get all of your questions answered and learn more about our facilities. We look forward to scheduling tour with you! If you would prefer, we also offer Zoom meetings.
