What is the Midnight Run?

An organization based out of Dobbs Ferry, NY that has been delivering food, clothing  and toiletries to the homeless in New York City for more than 25 years

How is Immaculate High School involved in the Midnight Run?

About 5-6 times per year, a group of students and chaperones, from Immaculate, go down to NYC on a Friday night to deliver food and clothing to the homeless at several locations.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the students to serve and interact with many homeless men and women.

What is involved for each Midnight Run?

Announcements are made in the morning approximately 1 ½-2 weeks before each Run indicating that a sign-up sheet is available in the main office.

From the sign-up sheet, students are randomly selected to participate in the Runs

If a student’s parents volunteer to drive for that run the student will automatically be selected for that run.

Students meet in the cafeteria around 6PM on the night of the Runs.  They sort clothing, prepare the food and 2-3 cars leave around 8:30 with parents and students returning to the school around 1AM

What can you do to help?

Monetary donations are needed as the trips are fully funded by generous donations from Immaculate families, alumni and local businesses
