On behalf of the entire Immaculate community I welcome you to our website. Through these pages and pictures, you will see the Immaculate school community living our mission. You will see how our academically excellent college-prep curriculum, our championship Mustang sports programs, our talented fine arts department and our campus ministry and spiritual life program encourages student involvement, not just at school but in our communities as well. Our mission at Immaculate is to nurture the development of the whole student spiritually, morally, intellectually physically and socially.
Since Immaculate High School’s founding in 1962, the school has educated and shared this mission with thousands of students and their families in the Western Connecticut area. We are happy to have the opportunity to share it with you. As you glance through the pictures you will discover the Immaculate community living our mission.
Immaculate is a safe learning environment where students discover their full potential, establish life long friendships, revere their Catholic identity, respect one another and grow to become responsible young adults.
At Immaculate, students feel accepted. Immaculate is a small community that offers each student the ability to develop his or her unique talents and gifts. Because of our size, students are called by name to get involved and encouraged to do their best in the classroom, on the field and on the stage and they are recognized for their contributions. Students are also encouraged to focus not just on themselves but on the needs of others. That is why so many of our students achieve the President’s Volunteer Service Award for donating over 100 hours.
If you are visiting the website as a parent of a prospective student you may be thinking… why Immaculate? The answer is as unique as the outstanding students who make up our tight-knit community. Immaculate is not just a high school choice - it is a life choice. It is during this critically important time in your child’s life that they will develop the skills and character qualities that will enable them to develop and become the type of people that make their community a better place.
If you are visiting the website as an alumni looking to reconnect with old friends and classmates, I hope you have fond memories of your years at Immaculate. We are extremely proud of our alumni. 98% of our graduates go on to higher education. 95% get in to their first or second choice college. Last year’s senior class was offered more than 11 million dollars in scholarships, grants and aid. Most importantly our graduates achieve personal and professional success.
As you explore the website I hope you will feel welcome and inspired to come visit us in person. I encourage you to visit and meet or reconnect with our outstanding faculty, staff and students.
Mustang Pride- Be a part of it!
