Don't miss the Second Annual Arts in the Park at Immaculate High School on May 18 from 6-8pm!! This year the "Saturday in the Park" event features a 3D sculpture mini-golf course, 1,000 pieces of artwork, music and food. Arts in the Park is produced and sponsored by the Immaculate High School Fine Arts Department to showcase the talents of its Fine Arts students while providing some fun for all ages.

Various styles and types of student artwork will be displayed, and guests can putt through a mini-golf course featuring a mountain range, a volcano, a medieval castle and a shark's mouth, all created by the 3D sculpture and portfolio classes. IHS rock bands, string ensemble and flute quartet will perform familiar songs by Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Imagine Dragons as well as film soundtracks including Stars Wars and Harry Potter.

Admission is free and there will be food for sale, including a lemonade stand to support Catherine's Cups of Kindness. Proceeds will go to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary.

Take a stroll through creative student artwork while listening to the melodies performed by IHS students and be part of "People singing, people laughing, a real celebration waiting for us all." (Saturday in the Park by Chicago)
