Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Immaculate High School

Each year, the Admissions Office recruits a highly competitive group of students to enter the 125 – 130 spots available in our freshman class.

Our application deadline for the 2016-2017 school year is November 19, 2016. After that date, we may still accept a limited number of applications on a rolling basis.

Please note: late applications will not be considered for scholarship or financial assistance.

Note: Immaculate High School Office of Admissions requires that applicants provide academic transcripts, educational records and standardized test scores for 6th through 8th grade. The process of requesting these materials is outlined in the online application. The authority to request transcript materials comes from the parent. In addition, IHS will requires english teacher, math teacher and principal/guidance counselor recommendations.

All freshman applicants must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

All 8th grade boys and girls applying to Immaculate High School are required to take this exam.

This year the HSPT is being held on two dates. Students may choose to attend either Saturday, October 29, 2016 or Saturday, November 19, 2015. Like other standardized tests, you can elect to send your test results to other Diocese of Bridgeport high schools. In order to register for the HSPT, you must create a student inquiry profile.
